Reed, Call DaveS, New plastics aren't all that too expensive. The front fairing on the R is $132, front fender $90, intake cover(gas tank) $206, I think the tail section cover is around $280, Chin faring is around $180. This should give you a good basis on what to pay for used stuff or you may want to get new in a different color. |

Reed, I have a complete tail section with subframe and everything. I converted to an S. It is the blue color tail section cover. I'm asking $450 for everything, not ready to part it out yet. It has seats and all. |

Lazy, What's a fair price for it all? 1bad, What do you want for all the red? Anyone ever paint anything the same color as the red plastics? I would need to paint my undertail and want it to match. |

Some people have asked for this info that is why I am posting it here. My 05 yellow R plastic has 0 miles on it, for 450 plus shipping. I also have the 05 white wheels and stock tires with 0 miles on it, for 550 plus shipping. The reason for taken it off is, when I ordered the bike i wanted a black 9R and Buell doesnt make a black 9R, so I asked dave to remove my plastic an wheels and put the black on for me and he agreed, as long as I pay for it Later, Ron |

When I bought my 04 XB12R I wanted blue and they didn't make a blue one I also did not like the gold wheels and the amber windscreen. The dealer said I could buy other wheels from the factory. I told them I would think about it. Then I found out that buell was making them in blue for 05 but I would still be stuck with gold wheels and an amber wind screen The dealer did a search (sept. 04) and none were available in the states yet. They had a blue XB9R sitting in the showroom but I really wanted a 12. They called me a couple of days later and said they would switch the body and wheels from the blue 9 and put them on a black 12 for no extra cost. I jumped at it and I could not be happier. |

Chuck: DaveS is Dave Stueve who is with Appleton, WI HD/Buell. Dave has long been a very active and involved Buell dealer who keeps an impressive inventory, is always ready to provide information, ships daily to anywhere in the world and provides an attractive 10% discount to all Badweb folks. I've gotten stuff from him on a number of occasions. Many of us keep a credit card number on file with Dave (who looks like a poster child for credit card fraud) and when we need something, we just tell him and POOF . . . it's at your front door. Dave is the present iteration of Buell online ordering. As an added bonus, he's married to a Princess of a gal who tolerates his mania and he rides reasonably well. By the way. . . Timbo, who just answered you above, rides "reasonably" well too. Ask him what its like to go faster than 208.546 MPH on a Buell. Welcome, Court |
