I wanted to white powder coat, but I'm thinking about getting a set of amber wheels. After seeing my own creation below I'm really in doubt about that white. Whaddaya guys think? I know it's a lousy editing job, but you should get the impression. Just sqeeze your eyes a bit to blur the image

I do not like the amber wheels with the 9 frame at all! Go with white! Have you seen the new wheels on the '05 9R? The have white centers and polished lips...sweet!!!

I had the dealer take my amber wheels off before I picked up the bike. I have stock 9s wheels on it. I like the polished look tho. To each his own. The 05 9R wheels do look great on the yellow bike. Keep changing colors until you find the one you want then have them powder coated in that color. The good thing about it. It is your bike to change as you want to. Brupska |

I think that if those rims didn't have that bright yellow ring (which they don't in real life) they would look great. If you're into decals, I think you could make that bike look stellar... |

I'm a big fan of the amber, but in your case I would also say white, with the stripe and all. |

...That is unless you are planning on powder coating your frame and swingarm black! If you did that the amber wheels would look dope!

HEY HEY HEY - White wheels pollished edges were first on the 2004 XB9R. And they look sweet when they're freshly washed. |

Your bike looks awesome with the white stripes and would look great with the white wheels. I think the amber would clash with the current colors. |

Starter is right. Those white factory wheels with the polished edges are choice. |

2nd only to the fact that my bike is a Buell and theyve only seen them in magazines, I get tons of compliments on my Amber wheels. The dark color accents of the XB12R (frame, exhaust, air scoop, etc.) go well with the bling of the amber wheels and the screen. |

Thats what i thought. Looks similar to my special O.P.S. pipe but mine is for the 9. And only has one outlet. (Message edited by lpd22 on February 18, 2005) |

How does the dual outlet special ops compare to the single outlet version? I love the power and tone, but would not mind cranking back the loudness a bit. |

Reep What pipe would you compare it's sound and loudness to? I am still waiting for my pipe to come back from Jet-hot so I haven't heard it yet. |

after being out on the bike today. riding around with my father, we both came to the conclusion that the special O.P.S. pipe is almost as loud as his fatboy. |
