Hey guys, on my way home yesterday my bike started to act up, felt like a cylinder was not working. When I stopped the bike it stalled on me and I couldn't get it to turn back on. A friend of mine met up with me, thanks Daveinm, and we changed the front spark plug which was Fu**ed. We got the bike starting but on my way home from where we changed it, the bike still was not right and was stalling again. When I got home I removed the back spark plug and it was shot. We replaced that one and when we turned it on the front one was now fouled again. I have a feeling this is happening because too much gas is going through, thanks to the TFI. Anyone have any ideas, because when I was driving to work this morning it started to get messed up again and the check engine light came on for a little bit. What would be the recommended TFI settings? Here is what I have: XB9R D&D K&N air filter Ceramic Coated headers 12 Airbox No Snorkel |

What settings are you using now? Are you letting the bike warm up completely before you go out for a ride? |

I let the bike warm up for about 5 - 10 minutes and then I go, but even then I still know the bike needs to warm up more. I can't remember what they are at right now, I will check in a little bit. |

Stock ECM. I checked out that link, but no one is running a D&D in that thread. Does that really matter? I think it would. (Message edited by lazyme21 on February 16, 2005) |

How'd it run at the 3-7-4-7 base settings? |

I just don't understand why my spark plugs keep fouling. |

should I go back to the defaults and just get the bike dyno'd? That would be the best thing you could do. |
