What header indeed is that?, looks like I must have one as it would work with my exhaust! |

Thats what I was thinking but where are those springs holding it together? If it is they should use these pictures to advertise instead of those unfinished spring covered photos on their sight. |

Alright Alright you caught me!! Yeah it's just the older model force headers with the jardine exhaust that I already had. I got it to fit together just right and it looks bad arse! It's just another possibility of what happens when you put your mind to it...Good luck........Suckers!

I just put a full Force exhaust on my 12R. In it's standard config it's "VERY LOUD!". If I understood the guy I talked to at NRHS tech support (VERY helpful folks)... With the lower force pipe installed there is a pretty good reversion from 2K RPM's through to 3K. It then gets pretty lean by 3250-3500. It works exceptionally well above and below that. This can be tuned around for sure. I'm working on it now. I don't recommend you run the bike with either a race or stock ECM w/o injection system augmentation like a PCIII or Techlusion 1045-ST. The fuel curve the pipe needs is very different from stock. I talked to George Levings from Dobeck today and he thinks it should be possible to tune around it with a Techlusion, and I know that Misato uses a good map in his PCIII for one. VERY sweet sounding exhaust pipe though... |

Yeah I ordered the Techlusion from Dave last week so I'll be installing that as well. I'd like to get the whole force exhaust setup eventually but I doubt I'll be able to find just the lower pipe unless it's one of the older ones that tend to break...The setup I have now with the force headers and jardine pipe is actually a tad bit quieter that stock headers w/jardine for some reason. |

Duff get that on a dyno and check the A/F ratio before you put many miles on it.... M1combat is right that thing is going to be leeeeaaan! You guys are correct it is the older style (first edition) Force headpipe. to my knowlegde, and it is extensive with this exhaust, there have been no fractures of this piece of the pipe. I imagine the guys at Force or someone associated with them is recuperating costs from the first batch by selling these. I have the one with springs now. I hope it holds together better than the Previous set-up |

duff very cool looking i look forward to updates on how that set up runs. Why dont anyone make just headers for the xb i think that would be a something that could be useful so that u could use the different slipons with it insted of having to stick with the stock headers or buying the force or tiforce. Which seems to be the only 2 with different headers, and honestly who is going to spend that kinda cash to chop it up which would be the only way u would e able to do a set up like duffs unless u can find a deal like his. |

Personally... I think the stock header is about as good as the Force. It's certainly made better wrt to tube bending and welding. And it looks sweet IMO . |

Firebolt020283, what chopping up are you talking about? Duff didn't have to do any cutting. All he did was buy the header. You can buy these headers separate from the kit. |

No chopping involved just a little grinding on the Jardin mid pipe that took us about 15 seconds. Other than that it went on easy. |
