Hello All, I was going to respond to the "Who Rode Yesterday" post, because I did. On Saturday I picked up my new xb12r By Sunday I was past 50 miles of 2500 rpm and into the next 450 miles of 3000 rpm. At this point I don't know how I am going to make it that far without opening her up. Here's a pic on the way home from the dealer: My dealer is Harley Davidson of Ocean County in Lakewood New Jersey. They have a local BRAG chapter, most of the techs ride Buells, and fully support the Buell brand. I got a great deal and would suggest anyone in the area stop by and take a demo ride. I was on two demos before I decided. Give this dealer a chance they will treat you right. Anyway, I just wanted to show a pic of my new scoot and report a good dealer. I have already ordered some pucks and frame savers from Daves and a Heli-Bar riser from American Sport Bike. I will try to wait until after break-in to make it stop sounding like a sick weed-wacker . jim |

Well it was like 50 here in NJ over the weekend, I was out sat and sun riding all day. Then spent the rest of sunday washing the bike down from all the crap on the road. |

Thanks guys! Rob is right it was pretty warm here over the weekend. My gloves were sitting right behind the windscreen. I stopped for the press conference and it was really hot with my winter riding gear on so I took my gloves off. Not hardcore at all I have plenty of warm gear Just got in after riding for about an hour tonight, starting to feel familiar. I will adjust the suspension over the weekend. The bars are definitely to low for me. I think the Heli-Bars will be just right. Bike feels great, light and responsive, engine runs well, can't wait to cross 500 miles. Any special things to look out for during break-in? Where's the gas gauge |

Nah, just the normal "be careful" stuff - easy on the brakes, lean angles, and throttle twist. I noticed a HUGE difference after my 1000 mile service - now have 1650 miles and it's really running great! |

You had as much snow on the ground as I have here in NE Maryland while riding to work last week and this week. Handlebar heaters are a must for winter riding. Polly Heaters. |

Captain: Big welcome! I see you are from Point Pleasent. That's our weekend (Bradshaw Beach) hide-away in the summer. There are some fun roads hidden not far from you. I rode in NYC yesterday and it was awesome! Welcome aboard, Court |

Welcome. Good choice although it has to much bodywork and it's in the slow colour. Norrie. |
