Well since it's gotten totally out of hand, the XBoard needs help. I'm gonna make subtopics kind of like the Thumper Forum. Any suggestions on subtopics? Once they are all created I'll try to go through and move our posts (this should take some time indeed) to their correct subtopic. This should help find things and also help stop reposting of things already posted. Thanks! |

Suspension! It would be interesting to hear riders' preferred settings and of any upgrades/aftermarket parts they fitted. |

Suspension, Engine, Exhaust, Intake, Fuel Injection/Electronics (TFI, PCIII, Techno Research), Tires (maybe combined w/ suspension), Ergonomics, Dyno room, Aesthetics (Frame polishing, Airbox cover holes, Painting/Dyeing etc)... I'll keep my mind on it. |

One about how much better the S models are than the R models would be cool. That's a joke, of course. Bob |

That's a joke, of course. Of course it is, everyone already knows the R models are better. Mike |

Yeah, it would be nice to see a Knowledge vault for the XB series. But that would mean even more work moving posts out of the current knowledgevault. Basically what everyone said so far. Just read through the topics that come up the most. Tires, TFI, Exhaust, Suspension, Airbox mods. I have also been thinking about a FAQ for the XB series. Many questions keep coming back. The answers are generally the same. Put those together with the answers so newbies can read those before asking about it. |

Thanks for the suggestions. You'll see a change soon. I'll not move anything from the KV to the XBKV. You can repost a link to something you would like to include in the appropriate place. Thanks Again, And remember it's not just the bike! |

I'd actually like one of each. The reason I dint get the R first is I'm a crotchety auld bastage. So as you can imagine, riding position was a big selling point. Bob |

This ain't as easy as I had hoped. Stay tuned. So far I've got... =XB Knowledge Vault ---Exhaust & Intake ---Fuel Injection/Electronics ---Tires ---Suspention ---Dyno Room ---Ergonomics ---Aesthetics =Buell News & Rumors =Buell Racing =XB Pictures =XB Quick Board =General Discussion Anything else? Now to figure out how to get it to look right. |

Maybe one more: engine upgrades like big bore, crank replacement, cam upgrades, gearbox & clutch replacements. We shouldn't have too many topics though. Maybe combine Ergonomics & Aesthetics? I'm not sure but is it necessary to have an XB quick board and an XB general discussion? Wouldn't this alienate the XB group of riders from the rest of the board? After all, there already is a quick board and a general discussion which is also a great place to keep in touch with our bro's on tubers. |

I agree that there is no need for an XB Quick or discussion boards. But I think Ergonomics and Aesthetics should remain separate. |

I would also add a Maintenance thread, an FAQ and a Newbie Introductions thread. |

Good thinkin' Ingemar. I'll add an Engine section. I'll also nix the =XB Quick Board =General Discussion Stealth, I'll also add a FAQ and Maintenance section as well. Misato, I remember that, way back when Underestimated maybe Guess now I'll read up on how to do all this. Ya'll will see the format first, and see things get moved in their proper place as time permits. There a lot to sort and move. |

Not all of us run scared when water falls from the sky. As for fun... maybe push the rear wheel out in corners sometimes. Back on subject, I agree with Ingmar on the engine section. |

I don't suffer from hydrovaginitis. Really, the only time I can't stand ridin' in the rain, is if it's a cold rain, or worse yet, stuck in traffic in the rain. Other than that, me a the little XB have seen most kinds of weather in our 30,000+ mile relationship. I'll be doing the change this weekend. I figure I'll have enough time if I do it Saturday night, no distractions. |

i dont think you should have many diffrent sections, less is better i think its easier to go one place and find everybody and every topic, than to go from section to section you should look into other forums more and you will see that alot of the sections will lack posts i have quit other forums because it got to much of a hassle to go here then there and then back over here etc dont change anything, except to move everything related to xb into xboard later, ron |
