Well, I'm deploying in the next two weeks so I took my last ride today before I head out. I took her out to our local "hot spot" Old Maple Hill Road, enjoyed the run up and down, then rode my baby all the way to New Bern where Down East Cycles is storing it for me. I stood there and watched them roll my baby to the garage for storage, sad site to see. I started having PMS shortly after that. My poor bike will be cooped up anywhere from 7 to 14 months. I did enjoy my last ride though. There were quite a few people out riding today. All the stuck up Hardley riders wouldn't give me the time of day, nod, wave, nothing, but everyone else was enjoying there ride and waving hello. Now I'm in the saving money mode to possibly make a few changes when I get back. I'm seriously thinking of adding that Drummer. Gonna put some new tires on, K&N, maybe the Zero Gravity windshield, and maybe a few other mods. We'll see. |

Southern Marine...My heart and prayers go with you. It seems like every generation of Americans are called to defend the attacks against freedom. Those who go with a lump in their throat are true patriots. God bless you dear patriot... I think you will be able to get on the net while you are over there, although limited on time. Let us know how it is going for you. As above, let us know if you need anything from your biker bros on Buells. We support you. Again, God bless and come home safe. I would consider it an honor to ride with you someday...Cyko Bob |

My best bud just left tuesday, he is across the fence at New River . I'll be going to New Bern with my 9r and m2 in march, may, and July. I'd be glad to run it for you while I'm down there, you know just to make sure she stays healthy. THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE RIDERS OF BUELLS and isn't it nice to have that nice new buell shop in Jacksonville. |

Baby wipes, those are your friend over there. Send him baby wipes and all things Buell he can read! Southern. Let me know if I can send anything you might need from Yuma that you can't beg, borrow, or steal over there... |

Hey, I appreciate it everyone. I'm going over there and with my desk job I still feel like I'm not doing my part to take the burden off those out there facing the real danger. The least I can do over there is to make sure they can get online and email their loved ones back home. Yeah, my job is in the IT field. Hey, someone has to do it. Hey I could use all things Buell to read though. |

Robert, It does not matter the role people play, but the quality of the people involved (Kind of reminds me of a post Court made a while back, but it is true). Your duties in Iraq will improve the quality of life for many. Please let me know whatever you need to have done stateside, Buell or otherwise. Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday for the BRAG meeting (if you can make it) and already looking forward to your return from Iraq so we can RIDE, 1313 |
