A chopper style license plate bracket for the rear that mounts the plate sideways at the axle. Could be incorporated as a rear slider.

I've seen that somewhere here on a Buell. It's made overseas I think. Anyone know what thread that was on? Or where it was?

My plate is mounted sideways. It's not a frame sider though. Look in the cutting off the pasta strainer thread.

I know I saw one that comes off the swing arm and starts wrapping around the rear tire. I think Trojan may have it.

I know it's kind of chopperish, but it would certainly clean up the undertail.

I just wanted mine to be different from every other tail chop. I like that there is nothing hangin down under the seat, just a wheel sticking out. I still have to put the new turn signals on yet.

The license plate bracket ya'll are talking about is manufactured by Rizoma.
I cannot find a photo at this time.

I drilled four holes in my under-tray about as low as I could. The plate mounts well there (don't use too long of bolts) and can be read easily from about 5-6' behind the bike. I don't have it lit yet, but I figure if the 5-0 don't stop me for it, why do it? I do make a point of keeping it clean though so if there are any lights shining anywhere near it it's really easy to see. I rode it for over a year w/o a plate at all...

No picture yet. Been so dang cold and my garage has been a mess. I'm hoping to get the rims taken in this month for the powdercoating. I still need to decide what I want to do with the rotors (thinking razor) and if I want to upgrade to the 2004 pulley. More money than I want to spend at one time but it kind of makes sense to do it all at once since the rims will be off and I'll be throwing on a polished swing arm.
