Author Message   Rubberdown Posted on Friday, December 31, 2004 - 07:41 am:        Just about to crack a 1k on my XB12S that I bought about three weeks ago. Love it! Very different from my previous bikes (a variety of Asian and a Harley). I can tell it's going to make me a better rider as it really seems to like a light touch without a lot of input, especially on the inside bar in a tight slow turn. I've really noticed is how counter-steering is very "apparent" on this bike. I seem to feel it much more than on other bikes. Guess I'll have to refine my usual "ham fisted" technique. I've been lurking and enjoying this site and hope I can contribute something meaningful in the future. Cheers in the New Year. There is another Buell owner in Aberdeen, just bought his 2000 X1, don't know if he is riding right now or not. I went thru Southern Pines on Tuesday (in a cage) and kept an eye out for an XB12 but I figured it was a little too cold and snowy to see you out riding.
