I ran a 11.8 @ 116mphs on my stock xb9s. It was on a dyno drag set up on a flatbed. How accurate that is I'm not sure. |

Can't help feeling that with a Buell lap times are more important than 1/4 miles. |

Wes, was that with you riding the bike? I've never seen that low an ET out of a stock 12. Heck, even at the dyno drag, the one 12R that was at Hals that day wasn't much faster than that. And we all know ya ain't gettin' the same times on that dyno drag than at the real strip or I'd be looking for some jap bikes to race with my 10.98 ET |

Hey Steve, Yes, those times are based on me in the seat at a real drag strip (PIR). I agree, the dyno drag numbers tend to be a bit optimistic... |

Well, an 11.50 isn't exactly easy to get for us "normal folk" on an XB12 either. You have a tad bit of experience there IIRC, the guy with the 12R at the dyno drag ran an 11.2. |

Not to steal anyone's thunder, but some of you might want to check this link before doubting Racerx1's ETs. Mike L. '04 XB12R |

XB12R on the dragstrip 12.00 can't remember the mph though. It was a warm day and my first time drag racing a bike. |

I dont think anyone is doubting Wes at all? In fact I have personally been to the races at Great Lakes dragaway to watch him. |

No, I'm not doubting his abilities AT ALL. I'm very sure he did those times on an XB. My point was, RacerX1's times are vergy good, because, well, that's what he does What gave you the impression anyone was doubting his times? |

What gave you the impression anyone was doubting his times? Specifically, it was this statement: I've never seen that low an ET out of a stock 12. Heck, even at the dyno drag, the one 12R that was at Hals that day wasn't much faster than that. And we all know ya ain't gettin' the same times on that dyno drag than at the real strip Apologies if I interpreted your initial post the wrong way. Mike L. '04 XB12R |
