I went for a ride on my 2007 XB12S yesterday and had no problems. Yes, kind of dull, but this thread was pretty lonely and needed some action! That made me wonder, I bought mine new; how many current XB owners bought them used? The selling value now is so low, even ignoring the 15+ year age. |

I bought my '06 Ulysses in May '06 used for $8500. Got $1500 for it 12 years later, as trade in on my current bike, a 2016 MV Agusta Turismo. |

I had bought my 2003 xb9s around 2008 for around $3500 with somewhere around 3200-3700 miles. Sold it a couple years later for $4000+ with a couple thousand extra miles. It was like I got paid to ride the thing Now my S1 only cost $2400, although I've thrown plenty of money at it since. Don't think I'll ever know what it's selling value is, since I won't be able to find out what my kids get for it after I'm dead. |

I bought it to ride, not to sell, so I do not care about selling value except you offer me more than $50000 for this piece of junk. |

They've salted the roads here (it's quite cold). So no riding for me at the moment. Might take the GS out, but the Buells are too pretty for these conditions. On the topic of value: this hovers between 3 and 8k here depending on mileage and condition. I know of an S1W that went for 10k, but that's an outlier. |

Bought my 2005, XB12 used...MANY years ago. Had just over 3200 miles on it. Haven't been on it much since I retired, but I did just put a battery charger on it the other day...just in case ! Don't recall what I paid for it, but I'd assume that it was fair. Mike |

Bought my 2009 XB12XT "Mostly New" from HD for $7,500, during the fire sale. It was classified as a dealer demo bike, and came with a one year warranty instead of two. It had less than 50 miles on it when I picked it up. |

I bought my 2003 xb9s around...2009ish. It either had 3200 miles and I paid $3700, or it had 3700 miles and I paid $3200. Either way, I think resale on those bikes has always been a little rough haha. |

I bought my 2004 XB9S for $3,500 with about 32k miles on it. Bank said it was not worth that, but I was happy to drive from central Louisiana up to Wisconsin in October last year to pick it up. Love it. Did and oil change and fixed some wiring issues while returning some fasteners to base condition. Rode a few hundred miles so far. I had the only Buell at the recent Thunder in the Hill Country in Bandera, TX. Lovely curves out there. |

bought my 09 Uly last July for $4250 with about 29k on the odometer I believe... other than some oil leaks that will be taken care of this summer, she runs great. Said goodbye to my 1125r back in October. |

2003 XB9S new still in original street trim and track day it each year a few times and my usual street bike. 2006 XB12X new all original for rides with wife and very few off road rides. 2007 XBRR new and set up for CCS (#999) amateur road racing. Fully heat cycled ridden for break-in at Barber by Dan Bilansky. Never raced, drained and on a shelf, as suggested by Erik Buell. XB1125R (?) new for street and ECTA land speed standing mile. Sell them.... nope. Our son would be be crestfallen as he and I agree that the XB9S is the ultimate motorcycle of all time and anywhere and the other XBs are a close second. |

I bought a 2007 XB12X in 2017. It had 1,300 miles on it. Now in 2023, it has just 3,300 miles. I could not ride it. Now after two ankle rebuilds, two knee replacements, one shoulder rebuild, and one hip replacement, I can ride it! An old guy with a lot of knew parts riding an almost new 2007 bike lol. |
