New here but have done alittle work on buells. I am a tech at a Harley dealer and own my own buell. I have built my own exhaust in order to keep the active valve system. No dyno but seat of the pants had much gain. Not to mention the deep throaty sound it makes. I am able to make a few more if the market is there. I also have a HPC coated head pipe which is black. And can get a few more. |

Dude... welcome. You might actually be able to keep that last post up for the low introductory price of one hundred bones. Don't ask me man, it ain't my board.... I'm sure Blake or one of his followers will explain it to you. In the future just write that you have this new thingy on your bike that somehow just showed up on your doorstep with a note that read.... from: a friend of a friend who knows a guy who owes a girl for doing that thing the other week for that boy in the wheelchair who owns that dog. |

1badxb-Just check out the "Special O.P.S." thread. Blake explains the rules. That's where Axtec12r is coming from. |

They're cams Fireball. "Shhhhh..... we aren't allowed to talk about any aftermarket parts here (by name or manuf.) that aren't a sponsor of this site. " That's a lie Aztec... Really. The entire thread Aztec is referring to can be summed up by this quote... This posted by Blake - "The intent of our policy is to protect the value of BadWeB sponsorship for those who fund the site expressly to gain permission to research the market and develop/offer new products. The intent then must also be to prevent any/all non-sponsor ventures from exploiting BadWeB to help initiate product development and or marketing which is not purely non-profit. Period. When someone talks about their new Techlusion EFI augmentation module, they are not seeking to exploit the board to sell the thing or start a new venture. They are talking about a widely available existing commercial aftermarket part that is produced by an already existing large commercial venture, not one trying to develop its first new product and garner market exposure almost exclusively via exploitation of BadWeB. No if's and's or but's.} : ) " Take a look at all of the badweb sponsors... They all sell very good product and they are all very good businesses to deal with (or at least I can assure you that the ones I have dealt with are). There's no problem with someone coming on the board and saying "Hey, I have something good to sell". Anyway, enough of that topic. Suffice to say... Ben should now be pointed in the direction of Blake with the instruction that he will need to sponsor the site for advertisement, or go talk to one of the sponsors and sell through them. This is how we keep the Badweb from ending up like Sacborg or the myriad other squid sights that populate the internet. I'm sure many of you have read what happened to Lyle (DcMortalcoil). I am not suggesting anything about you Ben... Not even sending bad mojo... but to me that would have been a good deal of money. I think that there are a lot of newer members here that haven't fully realized just exactly WHY this sight is "IMO" better than the rest. |
