I'm terrible with diagnostics. But walk me through it I'd be able to learn. 2006 Buell Ulysses Part Change History:: 1. Changed CPS (old from eBay) 2. Changed ECM and added Baro Sensor ( Old from eBay, Seller was adding a Baro sensor to ECM). Why? 1. Bike was running terrible when it's hot so i replaced the CPS. Still running very terribly. I got some freeze spray while it was hot but there was no change.. So I ruled out CPS. 2. I had a skip spark issues earlier. When riding the Red Engine light starts blinking. Until i slow down. Below 3000rpm. I took apart the ECM and resoldered the broken joints.. The red light stopped however bike ran terribly when hot. So I had to replace the ECM and did a TPS reset. The bike runs pretty well. However, while doing the TPS reset according to the manual, I should expect 5.1° to 5.5°. However in my case at 1000-1130rpm the TPD is between 3.9-4.1° I was thinking probably because i changed the CPS I may need to do a static timing. |
