One bike[XB12]is built for torque e.g. on the street where you can make good use of it.Other bike[daytona] is a track bike. What is your application? buy the buell, buy the buell..... |

Test ride them both and then decide. That's the only real way to know which one you'd prefer. |

What type of riding do you want to do? Track = In-line 4-cylinder Street = V-twin |

If you are really interested in a Daytona, I'd wait. There is a rumor going around that Triumph is going to ditch the in-line four and replace it with a 750 + cc Triple. That would be a cool bike. |

ooooh triples are cool. worth waitin for. the bikes you are comparing are so wildly different in character, form, style, and essence that it is hard to really see the dillemma you are having. it is so obvious that you need both bikes to be happy. the REAL question is which one to buy FIRST. since the XB12 is already in production, you may as well have it first. also, if the decision still pains you, you could always go alphabeticly, in which case the Buell still comes first. another possibility would be to purchase in the numerical sequence of cylinder count.... guess the Buell comes first here too. |

Go for a Daytona 955,cheaper than a 12R and that single sided swingarm is sweet.I believe they are going to bump the 955 up,the site shows 147 hp and 71ftlbs torque. |

Ya the 955 does sound like a good deal for your money because I'm sure it would beat the 12R in any kind of competition and its cheaper. |

if you like the naked streetfighter look and want a Triumph, try out the new Speed Triple...they made it look real cool, real mean...and it performs great but, as has been said here already...test ride them all...only you can decide what you want I have a 9R and my brother has a Speed Triple...they are both awesome bikes to ride, but both sooo different |

Ryan, if you've nothing to say, say nothing. Don't try to keep a dying thread alive. |
