Hals sells a full bodywork kit & according to them it doesnt affect the cooling at all. |

There is someone in Florida that has the full bodywork and he hasn't noticed a problem. I am thinking if I would do that here in AZ I would look at a larger oilcooler and a secondary fan near the rear cylinder, but that is due to the very high, DRY temps here during the hotter months. |

This is just a guess but I had heard that the Hal's kits ARE Sharkskinz and that you could only get them through Hal's..could be just rumor.. |

thats not a rumor, Hals is sharkskinz and they are the only place u can get the sharkskinz. however there are other race full farings made by other places but theres none with the holes for the lights like the ones that sharkskinz/hals carries. |

Try Rich Cronrath at racingmotorcycles.com He sells all of the works type race bodywork including bigger oil coolers/air scoops. We have had a number of fairings from him now for race and road use. You would need to adapt the top fairing for the headlamps. For road use the best result is achieved using the top fairing piece only matched with the stock chin spoiler. That way you get to retain the side stand etc

I would like one for the winter but here in Hotlanta I dont think my bike would last long in traffic on a mid summer day. |
