Im new to the whole Buell thing so I'm wondering, Do Buells sound like Harleys being V-twins and all? | ||

Stock they have pretty much their own v-twin sound but you can still hear a bit of harley. The D&D slip on brings out the true harley v-twin rumble with some high revin buell sound. If that makes any sense. | ||

B_S sounds good! How do the new tires feel? Sliders will be here friday. I got a few sets like Glitch's and two with spool/sliders like my old ones and only black. | ||

Buells have an entirely different sound. The cams & compression difference will make a huge impact on the sound. Some folks may not be able to tell a difference between them, but I can. Both sound great, just a little different than each other. | ||

Wycked, that sounds sick, who made your straighpipe? I have what I believe to be the first race pipe, it came off one of the really early 9's and is shorter than every other race can I have seen, this give me a louder race pipe than the others as well, sounds great but I would love the straight pipe for a "Sunday Cruise" through Snellville. Dirtryder, I think they give you the impression it is a Harley but you will notice something different, then they spot you and go WTF is that? | ||

well honestly dirtrdr, when i first bought my xb home, all my friends, brothers, inlaws, etc thought it sounded wimpy. i thought it sounded like a 20 year old subaru with bad plug wires. the drummer sounds pretty good though. | ||

hmm, well nallin offered some things to help me out which was cool, they didn't have to do anything. But, I have to BUY the new pipe at a discount but still.... I'll have to try and sell my system on ebay then come up with more $ and get the newer version pipe. fair? no better than nothing? I guess. | ||
