I've seen a lot of people talking about the airbox mod for the XB9 series. As you all know I have the City X and it uses the XB12 airbox. Was wondering if doing any mods to it would be worth it in the end? |

I did, and it seems to rev faster, and gets a really nice "snort" when you whack the throttle. Its a nice combo, it is quiet when you want it to be, and you can get a good noise out the top when you open it up. I posted dynos here with the stock ECM and just the cut up airbox, and all things relative, they are not bad. On the CityX, the big deal to me was the fact that you can now get more light through the airbox, and actually see the filter if you look closely. And the noise. So the performance is a little better, not day and night, but the aesthetics are much better (IMHO). |

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice Cowtown. Think I might just have to do that one with LED's shining on it to confuse the hell out of people. |
