Anybody else run across this? Just had a set of Avon Storm 3D XMs mounted up. When I installed the rear, the rubber touches the hugger. Been looking for overall diameter specs. This replaces a set of previous gen Avon Storms. Barely touches. Not sure if it's anything to worry about and also not sure what will wear to clearance first. Really too tired/lazy to pull it again and just pull the hugger for a couple thousand miles. Unless my conscious starts to bug me soon. Opinions? |

I hate to ask, but is it the correct size tire? 180/55/17. There definitely is some variance in overall diameter between tires and brands, so some will have more clearance (and throw the speedometer off more), but none should be hitting the hugger. |

PH**K! Froggy nailed it. I had the 1190SX changed at the same time and the wrong tires got on the rims. Chaz is going to love me. |
