Hello everyone! I'm resurrecting an idea I haven't seen mentioned in a while: highway pegs for the XB12s. Before the jeering starts, this is for those of us who actually ride longer distances than just the corner Starbucks and back. This thread (https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?49489 -Highway-foot-pegs) had the cleanest looking home made ones I've seen. Does anyone know if there is something comparable for a 2005 XB12s? Or is anyone interested in fabricating any? Thanks. |

I'd assume you saw this thread too: https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?21088 -Highway-Peg-Mod I saw, and have pictures of, a XB9SX in Philly, PA with this setup. I'm not really sure how to post photos here though. Edit: They appear to be from Palmer in the UK. http://palmerproducts.co.uk (Message edited by ahampton128 on May 24, 2021) |

These arent as far out as the ones in the buellxb link, but seem to have the same mounts. https://www.t-rex-racing.com/Buell-XB9-XB12-No-Cut -Frame-Sliders-p/n141-7.htm They call them frame sliders, but I put my feet on them and they give you an extra foot or so to stretch out. |

There is no similar highway pegs for 2003-2007 Buell XB. The left side peg should fit the 2003-2007 Buell XB though. There is different screws pattern and geometry on the right side so the right side will not fit. If you can figure out right side timing cover screws pattern, screws sizes and how to go around the engine features sure you can build one http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/836022.html?1535462660 |
