My xb9r is reading 83 rwhp on the dyno (unknown brand)usual mods and sebring pipe but I'll swap you 5bhp for your curves mine are a disaster....I reckon linear power and torque delivery is a better deal than lots of power between 5500 and the red zone. |

You reckon correctly . |

Surveyor, once I run it on a different dyno that is a little more optimistic I'm sure the numbers will be more like everyone is used to seeing on a 12. I traded bikes with a friend yesterday that is running the same set-up as me, including the Techlusion, and he said the mid-range and throttle response was much better than his and pulls like crazy from 3000 on up. Hopefully I can get another run here very soon. The curves are what you're after though. Later....Odie |

Im waiting to see what the price is going to be for a super sano turbo setup for my bike. Insane rwhp, I think full throttle runs may just cause instant death.

Looks like a dyno run from a RX-7 twin turbo! I couln't imagine that in a bike. I think the roll on 5th gear wheelies would scare me at 160mph! |

Heh! There's no way that dyno chart is from a Buell anything - I can't even start to imagine a pushrod motor holding together at 13,000+ RPMs. |

Joele, your right about that. HD valve trains do not like high rpm's at all. I have seen push rod engines spin past 10k, but those were short stroked race car engines, Nascar engines are pushrod and spin even faster but these are exceptions. |

I'm expecting some stock 12 runs on the very same dyno that I did mine on. I will post them when I receive them....Later, Odie |

That'll help give us an idea of what the Superflow factor is, but it won't do anything to tell us what your custom muffler is bringing to the party. That would be good to know, no? |

Hey Dyna There is a video of a Hybussa turboed up. Insane describes it correctly. If I can find it I will send you the link. Tim |

I saw one at "up on one" that seemed to go from 80-180 in about six seconds. VERY freakin fast. |

In Western Aus, there is a mob doing a turbo kit for the GSX1400's... They are claiming 270rwhp using stock pistons... Then there is my mate (here in Townsville) who is building a turbo 'Busa... The guy tuning it for him was involved in the USA 'Busa that makes over 500rwhp (520 or 530ish, IIRC)... He's gonna drag race it (based in Mackay) and they say it'll make up to 21psi!!! They are aiming for 450 - 470rwhp... He has been drag racing the bike for a couple of years now, just with PCIII, Hindle system and K&N, when he rolls the turbo out, he says he'll start out at 8 - 10psi, just to get used to it... He's bought the domain name australiandragbike.com.au, so look out for it... |

I'll be getting one of Odie's pipes pretty soon. If I can get some dyno time I'll get a comparison between it and the drummer I'm running now. I think that'll be interesting. I'm also running the techlusion. (Message edited by aztec12r on December 14, 2004) |

Blake, yea, I agree. If I had a dyno in my basement then things would be alot easier! At least it will give me somewhat of a baseline from which to start, generally, sort of, kinda.......At least it's the same dyno. I guess I can see what the sum of my mods are doing for me and would have to say that I feel the pipe would be the biggest factor as far as the tq/hp curves go so at least it will show something. Maybe this spring I can run it with the stock pipe and maybe even disconnect the Techlusion too. I need to rent a block time on a dyno!! Later, Odie |

Blake, I should have a before and after dyno from a Dynojet 250 and that pipe on a 9 before Christmas. I can pretty easily get a sound clip up as well. (note to self, do a "before" clip also). |

Uhhh... How does that pipe (odie's) work on a nine? I thought half of the Schtick of that pipe was that it retained the valve from the 12? |

My bad, there are two pipes, a modded 9 and a modded 12. I did not read far enough back, mine will be the modded 9. |
