I just ordered a crank position sensor for the '09 Uly, as far as I could tell that (could) be the problem. I disconnected the sensor, put a meter on the terminals (AC-V), cranked the motor and got 6-7 volts. I'm really hoping this is why the ECU isn't telling the coil to fire. Coil fires fine when tested with BuellTooth but not when cranking. My life would be so much better If I had one of these elusive boxes (B-48115), I've thought about making one with a genaric breakout box from ebay but boy does that look like a lot of work. Anyone here done that? or know of a box for sale? |
