Hello everyone from Malaga (Spain) my world is two-stroke but I have an xb 12 ss chassis and all the Buell technique fascinates me. I hope to learn a lot about xb with you. This project has been abandoned for two years but I want to retake it and in parallel start another project with my Buell chassis, with a two-stroke engine of course:http://https://www.facebook.com/Proyecto-sp04-471001892956640/ I start the project. At the moment I have only the frame and the front forks of a CBR 900 rr 96. I need to know the measurements of each side of the triangle formed by the shock absorber attachment on the frame, the shock absorber attachment on the swingarm and the swingarm attachment on the engine, for the xb 12 ss frame. (The photo is only to show what I want to say, I think thant it is a diferent frame). Thanks for your help.

There are CAD models of Buell XB12Scg on the GrabCAD might be helpful for you. But there are some differences between SCG and SS so the dimensions you are looking for might be different. https://grabcad.com/library/buell-xb-12-scg-custom -ii-1 https://grabcad.com/library/buell-xb12s-senna-edition-1 (Message edited by TPEHAK on May 20, 2020) |

That CAD model is the closest to the real size you can go because of it was measured to build this CAD model. The only better way to figure this dimensions is to ask Buell to share factory CAD models or measure by yourself if you feel you can measure it better. |
