Hi guys, new to the forum as an addict, S3T '97, XB12X '06, XB12XT? '08. I bought a 2008 XT model off of cycle trader. Got it off the truck to find that it has 7" of ground clearance, and 47mm forks, feels just like my '06 X model. I am thinking that luggage was added to an X model and that the dealer assumed that it is the XT. The graphics say XB12X on fairing and chassis, does XT have model specific graphics? I am vertically challenged, love to ride the 12X but can't enjoy it at low speeds, tight quarters, and parking. XT is the answer, but I don't think I have one. |

What does the VIN plate say? Of course, previous owners could have modified it in several ways. I test rode a Uly before I got my XB12S and it was too tall for me at 6'-1" (34" inseam) |

Sounds like a X. The VIN will tell you for sure https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1713/7809/files/ VIN_NUMBERS_2007-2010_all_models.pdf?1270355662844 7459144 XT (stock at least) has different wheels, suspension, trees, badging, windshield, front fender, and no headlight grill. |
