Do I have to remove the entire headlight assembly or is there a way of just changing the bulb? I pulled off the rubber cover on the back of the headlight assembly (the right one/low beam) but cannot figure out how to remove the bulb only. Thanks. |

No need to take the fairing off! Just pull the rubber boot like you did and open the two springs as seen in the video around the 2:30 mark. Bulb is out and in, in seconds. |

Thanks. I did see that one. Someone in the comments posted that this was unnecessary, I asked him a question on an easier way to do it. |

Gowindward, thank you. I will give it another shot. I just had a really hard time getting in there and trying to open the springs. |

Get one of these:
Keep it in your little toolkit. Swap bulbs in walmart parking lot. |

I did it successfully, thanks. When I got it out I saw the spring holding the bulb was broken so that was the reason it was more difficult., Love this forum. Everyone helps. |
