Hi gang, just a question about a suppliers reliability. I purchased a stator from Twin Motorcycles in the Netherlands after being assured that their stators are the ducks nuts. This was on the 11/9/18 and they are still telling me that they are nil supply. Has anyone else had a problem with these people, should I keep on waiting or should I cancel the order and go elsewhere. I have contacted them to try and get an ETA but they did not respond to me. Gary PS, it is a 2007 XB12R. (Message edited by buelllord on January 02, 2019) |

St Paul HD seems to have OEM in stock. https://st-paul-harley-davidson-buell.myshopify.co m/pages/product-result?q=yr_2009~mk_buell~md_fireb olt-xb12r~yt_electrical-/-ecm-/-sensors-/-lighting (I used 2009, don't know your year.) |

Given you are in Australia that makes things complicated. Normally I would suggest just getting one at your local dealer, part number 29971-02YA for your 2007. Odds are it will need to be special ordered, but if there is one sitting on the shelf in your country that is probably your best bet. You can also try and find a shop that will rewind your stock unit, that is a popular option with the 1125s as the stock unit is ridiculously expensive. St Paul will ship internationally, but with the shipping cost I would imagine that is the last resort. |

His profile says he is riding a 2007. How different are the stators from those off of a sportster? |
