Is that the $10 word for the plug where you connect a buelltooth or cable device to connect to the ECM? Anyway, wondering how to test it or if anyone has experienced poor connection issues. I just got a buelltooth dongle and plugged it in. The LED did not light up. I was able connect it to my android device but could not retrieve any info from the ECM. I have used a cable for ECMspy and was able to connect. Dave at Buelltooth says their units are all tested before they go out so I want to exhaust the possibilities before sending it back. |

Thanks Shoggin. Run switch is on. So after a little squirt of contact cleaner I get the flashing red LED on the Buelltooth device. It is linked to my adroid pad. When I push the connect button a message pops up that says: Paired devices BUELLtooth (983:21:F4E:39). When I touch that message I get a screen that says: Read EEPROM connecting to BUELLtooth with a red arrow thing going around counterclockwise. This continues for a few seconds. Next I get the screen for the ECM info with none of the info from the ECM and a message that says :Timeout reading 0 from 6 bytes. Can anyone tell me what is happening and what to do about it? tch is on. |

whoops, emogies definitely did not appear on the screen message. I should add, the LED kept flashing, did not stay solid as it should when connected to the ECM |
