Hi guys, I'm about to rewire my series-wound 2008 Ulysses stator. 12u magnet wire (instead of 13 u), J B Weld epoxy for base coat along with Captan tape. ...... I need to know what potting compound to use ( high thermal conduction & high electrical resistance) |

At one point I was considering building my own voltage regulator and this is what I was looking at: https://www.amazon.com/MG-Chemicals-Thermally-Cond uctive-Encapsulating/dp/B008UH4CRM Chemical resistant as well, which I think would be extra critical for the stator application. Post pics of the build process if you can, I'd love to know how the change in wire gauge affects the current output when you get it done. |

This guy is brilliant and did a great write-up for his 1125: http://hildstrom.com/projects/buellstator/index.ht ml His other projects are fascinating too. |
