G'day fella's and ladies, I from australia and i am buying a XB9R in a couple of months. It is my first road bike so i am pretty excited. can anyone pass on any bike accessories websites. There is really that much stuff over here for Buells. Any help would be very grateful. Is there any faults i should know about before i put down my hard earned on a new 9R |

mate you almost stole my username! good to see another ozzy on here my only advise would be to get the dealer to chuck in a race kit if u want a no fuss performance upgrade. Messing around with aftermarket bits can be b half the fun though depending on what your into. get the 9 youll love it! |

G'day and G'news. . . we have some GREAT Buellers in Oz. Australia has figured in a big way in Buell history and some of the most passionate of Buell riders are hidden all over from South Australia to Queensland. Last year Team Elves Downunder set Buell Land Speed Records at the Gardiner Dry Lake in Australia. In 1998 Buell held one of the coolest secret press intros ever in Oz. I suspect that if a mate were to keep his ear to the tracks there is more Aussie big news in the pipe. Welcome aboard, Court |

It has surprised me that so many people I have met with xb's tell me it is their first street bike. I guess it just has that kind of impact on people. It also surprised me that Buell is more popular overseas than in its' own motherland. I think we Americans can be a little slow sometimes. we'll catch on. I can't think of any reason not to get an xb, I can think of a thousand to get one. Buy it, and have fun! Buell=cool |

I'm one of those first streetbiker buelligans. I rode in the dirt for quite a while, which really helps on the street believe it or not. I just stumbled on the website one day before class and fell in love. Stopped by the dealership on the way home and the thing practically fell in my lap. I'm gonna need rehab for this! |

Court, you wouldn't be referring to an ecm designed for Aussie fuel would you? Can't think of a better way to spend Xmas morning Paul. Welcome Gavin, if you've ridden dirt bikes before you'll really appreciate the Buell in the tight stuff, their handling is excellent, and they're easy and cheap to maintain. For accessories check out the Buell USA website and do searches on this board, plus what Downundabueller said. The guys here are often discussing accessories, plenty of info here. Downundabueller, you picked up that new 12S yet? (Message edited by opto on November 03, 2004) |

Hey... I'm off work from the 11th December... Have to see the OutLaws in Hervey Bay on the way down... But you get the general idea fo when I'll be about... I'll have the bike in a trailer, so I might leave the missus and the chip at the inlaws and head home (Brisvagas) directly... Geez, we'll have to start exchanging numbers shortly... Anyhow, you've all got access to my address, but I got broadband last week so it has changed... |
