I recently purchased my 05 XB9SX and am pretty excited. I was looking for a bike for about a year and wanted something different. I found it and am extremely happy with the decision. It is an awesome bike and extremely fun to ride. My previous bike was a 93 FZR 600. Similar power, but no where near the handling. This bike is amazing in the corners. I am not that experienced and it is very easy to ride.

Cityx, welcome aboard! There are a few of us here in the Houston area. There's a pretty large group of BWB'ers up in the Woodlands area, I'm in Bellaire, and I've seen a couple from down in the Galveston/NASA area. Keep your eye on the "Houston Buellers" thread in the "Storm Fronts" area--sometimes we get together and ride!

Looking at the bike also here. I also have a 1993 FZR 600 (don't plan to get rid of it.) If not the City X I will be aiming for the XB12R. Test rode both the 9 and 12 and must say the torque on the 12 puts a heck of a smile on my face.
