My (2) XB9Rs... Red one (right) is a 2003, was blue. 2005 (left) is blue, was yellow. 2003 has 15k mi and; Ohlins rear, Racetech tuned front 41mm, Buell race exhaust (soon to be replaced with Dean Adams exhaust and 2010 XB12r header, both ceramic coated), Nissin radial MC with EBR 8-piston caliper, EBR 5mm rotor, 2008+ XB12R airbox with K&N, American Sport Bike catch can & K&N breather mod, Woodcraft rearsets, updated mirrors, spools front and rear. 2005 has 25k mi and; 2008+ airbox, K&N filter, American Sport Bike catch can and K&N breather mod, spools front and rear. Bought the second one in case one of my brother or one of my old riding friends visits. Went through both top-to-bottom; all new bearings, tires, EBC HH brakes, etc. Took them both out back-to-back yesterday with the wife, figured I would share. (Didn't have time to clean them first.....yeah, I am that meticulous)

Thanks for sharing. You've got yourself a couple of beautiful machines there. 9R is at the top of my bucket list. Since I already have 2 Buell's I'm not going to part with, I need to figure out where the third will fit first! |
