Someone recently told me that the factory race kit on a XB9 will wind loseing top end speed and power. I figured i would ask the experts. | ||

There is no reason, when properly installed, that a race kitted XB9 will lose top end speed. The rev limiter is the same and the bike makes more top-end power. | ||

You lose some bottom end power, you gain top end. | ||

With race ecm,XB12 airbox, snorkel removal,and Drummer, my XB is stronger on both ends. It's got to be more than just seat of the pants. It's just quicker. | ||
