There are more differences than just bars.... Tail section, headlight, fairing, ignition, wiring, etc. That said, anything can be done. Often think I'm the only one that tried to go the other way. As a byproduct, I have a Firebolt tail section, and LSL machined top clamp, risers handlebars and brake line for that. Ended up selling the half converted one and bought an original Firebolt; was much cheaper in the end. Your results and mileage may vary. But now I have parts that I need to list on here in my spare time. | ||

Best advice is wait for the right deal on a Lightning. You will end up changing throttle and clutch cables and front brake line to go with a Lightning handlebar conversion, even with the LSL conversion top tree. Otherwise, easiest is to get a Lightning top tree, clamp, and ignition, but even still you will be changing cables and brake line. |
