Problem is I need to find one to get a better feel of how big it is. I wont be happy with a smaller Buell. My 2008 XB12X is so different from my 2000 X1 that it's hard to believe that they come from the same factory. Completely different bikes, not only in terms of handling. Power delivery is very different on an X1. I bought an XB12Scg recently, can't wait to find out how that compares to my Ulysses and X1. My friends think I'm a little nuts for owning nothing but Buells, but like you said, they are so different. As for the OP, if you're considering a Ulysses, try one. Cagers think it is a scooter at the stoplights until the hammer is dropped.... gone. When making a meal, one uses a can opener, when making a twisty, one uses a 9S. Note the power/weight ratio too. Cut two cheek butt bone grooves and a perineum groove in the seat foam and recover the seat, go riding for hours. Size matters.... the smaller the better (XB9S).
