Hey guys I have a new to me 2004 xb12s that had an issue with the rear shock leaking fluid onto the relay block and melting the relays for the horn and headlight. I have been able to locate a new relay harness but I am trying to see about the rear shock. I don't know if they are rebuildable and if so who can do it in the Biloxi Mississippi area. It was the bypass part that is under the seat that was leaking. Any information or anything that can help would be awesome I want to ride so bad. Thanks for your help and information.

If it only leaked at the connection of the cannister then maybe if you try filling it back up with oil and put it together with a couple new rings and go from there! |

Try a local m/c dealer service shop, they may be able to fix or rebuild the shock. Certainly, any performance motorcycle suspension shop can rebuild the shock. But, it won't be cheap... I would check m/c salvage yard first, then craigs list or ebay. |
