Nothing in particular, just the usual wear items like belt, bearings, etc. Some 09s have problem with fuel pumps popping the fuse on hot days when it is low on fuel, but that isn't even a very common problem. The bike is solid overall. |

That's a very nice bike. The already super reliable short stroke version of the XB, and with the updated oiling system and crank. That thing will run forever. It's worth $3500 to $5k all day long. Now if the seller can find somebody to pay that for it is another question. It's not the kind of bike people are searching for (though they should be). Think of it as an SV650 with way better power and way better suspension. And way better looks. |

The black frame/black forks/blue plastics/blue wheels first available in 2009 was my favorite color combo ever offered on an XB. |

Yeah, Reepicheep, it's funny that you mention an SV650. I've got an 01 SV currently and it's been a great bike. It's one of my all time favs. BUT, I had a 12SS I sold a few years back and I'm trying to scratch that itch again. You're right also Hughlysses. That all black with a little blue is really sharp. |

I went to buy an SV650 and finally came home with my first Buell (a beautiful black 2000 M2). The SV is a great bike, but I've been ruined for Buells ever since. |

I know the feeling. I miss the SS. But I've been looking for a XB9. I may have found one. I'm supposed to look at this one in the morning. You're right, there's just something special about a Buell. One of the things I always liked about the Buell is you don't see many around. I used to have people come up to me when I had the SS and ask me "what is it?" Heck I haven't owned one in about four years, but I still get excited when I see one, LOL. (Message edited by lancruza on August 19, 2016) |

Looks nice. Expect to pay more at a Harley dealer, but that is a given. Those levers aren't stock, it looks like it is missing the hand guards, headlight grill, mirrors and decals. It might just be the angle, but it looks like it has the Firebolt footpegs. |

Good eyes Froggy. I see some XB9SX's with the headlight grill and some without. I wasn't sure if they were stock or an option. Same goes for the handguards. I did notice the aftermarket levers. Also the tail looks like it's missing the rear section where the taillight is mounted and no rear turn signals that I can see. |

I've got a VIN. Does anybody on here have a way to check it for me? I can buy a report, but I thought I would check and see if anyone had a subscription. Thanks |

I went and looked at this bike today and it's quite a bit rougher than I thought it was going to be. They're asking $2,990 for the bike. The bike is on Craigslist and at Boneyard Cycles in Anderson South Carolina. I listed all the things that I found about the bike In the classified section. Good luck, caveat emptor. |
