Anybody know why Mike B. dropped out after the 4th lap ? Crash ? mechanical ? shame because he was running good.

Unfortunately from what I understand Barnes bike broke an oil fitting and DNFed. From what I heard Barnes and Ciccotto were dualing it out there might have been a podium finish w/o the DNF.

I've been wondering why Buell doesnt use AN fittings (you know, like Earl's sells for hotrods). My guess is these guys have the engine in and out so often that the oil lines are a problem area.

Anyway, sorry for the bad luck that the Kosco team had. Hopefully next year the bikes will be sorted out and we will start seeing podium finishes (that will show the anti-buellites!).

Yep, it was a great race ! I watched with Jose and Johnnie from turn 4/5 . Barnes got a great start, he was right up frnt. for the first 2 laps then we didnt see him again ( found out later about his mechanical problem ) but Mike and Opie battled pretty much the whole race !
