Recently grabbed up tunerpro because my bike has been stumbling here and there. When I got into the bin, I saw a flag reading Error Mask Byte 0: Rear O2 Inactive. I'm a little confused about this flag since I can either check the set box or uncheck it and I'm not sure if I'm enabling/disabling the error message caused by an inactive O2 sensor, or if I'm messing with the O2 sensor itself. The flag is referencing 0x244, the Error Mask Byte 0, looking at bit 4. I want the O2 sensor active, and I want the trouble code monitoring enabled, so if anyone knows whether I should tick the 'set' box or leave it unchecked, please let me know. | ||

Well, looks like it's just a toggle for the error itself, I assume so that tuners have easy access when they disable the O2 sensor. In other news, if anyone knows if it's normal for my TPD to fluctuate at idle (bounces from 3.7 to 4.2) and have some outliers (where the TPD is way off the line with the TPS) that'd be great. Bike's been surging and every so often when I cut the throttle it'll stumble and completely reset, lose my gauges/etc and the trip meter resets as well. It's only for like a millisecond. If you are losing the gauges and the trip meter is resetting, you are losing electrical power - just like turning off the ignition. Check and make sure the battery cables are tight, and the contact areas clean. And don't just check the bolts - some folks here have found that the bolts are too long, and even though tight the cable ends are still loose. Might even cure the stumble issue.
