Anybody know much about this exhaust? im told its a factory race exhaust, ive never seen one like it. It did recently come off a road racing bike. I've got it for sale in the classifieds.

Looks like a Benson exhaust, I haven't seen one of those in forever. |

Definitely a Beson. You are looking at the LOUDEST exhaust ever run on a Buell. It was the pipe I started racing with. You really SHOULD put a second slip-coupling between the one there and the flange. Beson did that on later pipes. Helped a lot with cracking welds. MANY race tracks with noise limits will not let you run it. I may still have some fuel maps if you get serious about it. If you haven't put $$$ into it, you'd be better with a Twinmotorcycles.nl Torquehammer. I've got a lot of experience with it - and I BELIEVE that they can also provide maps. If this Beson is yours, I'd strongly advise welding Oxygen sensor plugs in both pipes, not just the rear. It'll tune much better. (Message edited by slaughter on June 24, 2016) |

Right on the LOUD! A guy from Tampa has one on an XB-9r, and it is ear shattering. But that is the best running "9" I know of. |
