stock 9 muffler, one of the things I want to have on hand. Question - are any of the straps or mounting hardware considered single use items? What else should I get to go with it? Thanks! | ||

It says front strap is one time use, but I have reused with success. | ||

All straps are one time use, as is the clamp. But I've certainly had mine off and on numerous times without problem. | ||

I've reused the front strap, often with not problem. I've also had it break while riding, which was quite an inconvenience, and could have been dangerous. I don't worry about reusing the other straps, and haven't had a problem as a result. | ||

I got the Deep Blue clamps. They held up fine. They are slightly less beefy than the stock clamps, slightly thinner in a few places. But again, they have held up fine. | ||

I have this PN: 70STBC750, from the above site, listed as rear clamp size. The muffler on my bike has been off/on at least a dozen times over the last 10 years. I have not replaced the front strap or Torca clamp. I don't think HD replaced them either when they did the side stand recall... NOTE: torque spec for the straps is in inch-pound [in*lbf] Don't ask me how I know... |
