I stumbled across an XB9 Firebolt with a strange orange and black paint job. (Two Faced) Does anyone have any history on this bike. The owner claims it was a factory option. Kind of neat looking. |

Is it like the VR1000?

Yup, correct. So was this an option or some kind of special promotion in 03? |

It wasn't a factory thing, so it was like a one off custom by a dealer or owner. Sometimes dealers will dress up a bike with custom paintjobs or other mods to help sell it. |

I can attest to that. PPHD, where I work, does custom stuff on new bikes occasionally to showcase and help sell it, as well as to help sell accessories. |

Good to know. There is one for sale locally here in Denver and it was very tempting. Holding out for an XB12r though. Very cool though. Hope someone picks it up. |
