Oil line fittings might be different threads, but you can fit some adapters or cut new lines to fit.

Otherwise, yeah.

Actually the shock mount is off. You need to either move the shock mount on the swingarm, or get a custom shock. EricZ can tell you more about it.

Long swingarms on short frame bikes cause wobble issues.....

What speeds are you getting a wobble?
And is the shock just not long enough or is it moved over to one side
Buellsterparts has a shock adaptor for long swingarms it say
I have the shock swingarm and belt all for the long model

I've personally never heard of any wobble issues before.

The stock shock is too short, you will need an adapter or another shock. The 06-08 Lightning Long shock will maintain the same ride height as stock, the other ones (X, XT, STT, 2009+SS ) will raise the bike (or at least the rear)

the 'Wobble' mentioned might be in reference to changing the ride height of the rear suspension, thus changing the fork tail/rake angle and steering feeling

While the 06-08 Lightning Long shock may maintain same ride height, the shock travel is too long for the stock frame w/long swingarm and the swingarm can bottom out/hit the frame...not good.

Your only options are:

1. Cut/weld the swingarm shock mount to relocate it

2. Make adapter piece to lengthen the stock shock

3. Buy custom shock

And yes, you will need 06-07 oil lines and engine fittings.

And long swingarm makes chassis MORE stable, not more wobble.

Many racers swap the arm for better high speed stability. If someone gets a wobble after the swap, its for other reasons

Yup, that looks like what you need. I didn't realize someone was selling that part.

you will need to check the clearance to the undertray / battery
so tail raisers or cut the undertray and battery plate , for the shock
