Hello all, Would anybody out there know the part number for the stock muffler. I'm interested in the muffler that Don Casto is selling and this is the part number he has.XB muffler (Part # SO110.02AK). Thanks for the help! Wade |

There is no part with that number, if I had to guess it likely hard to read and he wrote the wrong one down, it likely is S0110.02A8, which is a early XB9 muffler. Also I looked at his website, the muffler with that description is not stock, the stock exhausts are not dual outlet. |

Thanks Froggy, I currently have a stock exhaust and have been looking at the drummer or hawk exhaust. The picture looked like a hawk exhaust to me. Do you know if this would work on my bike? I've only had the bike for a month so I apologize for the newbie questions. Had a 2001 X1 lightning for 8 years and the XB series are a little different. Wade |

Yea if I had to guess, that is a Hawk muffler. Special Ops has a similar design but the welds are neater. There are some other home made cans out there but those were the most popular dual tip stock based ones. That can was originally a XB12 can as you see it still has part of the valve, but without opening it up I don't think there is an easy way to tell if it still is functional inside. |

If you're interested I have a xb12 muffler (project) that is in 3 pieces. I have photos. |

Thanks Frog! I'm going to buy the muffler and see if it works. If it doesn't I can always throw it on Ebay. If it doesn't work i'll hit you up Teeps! Wade |
