Looking to pimp out my new SX with some funky lights under the translucent parts. Need some suggestions. Any one done it yet? |

For a real simple solution drag out the 3rd headlight (parking light) connector from between your headlight and use it. That way you could leave the bike glowing in parking mode and it would always run. Saves you having to mod the wiring harness too much, maybe it might reach, I would thing you might need to extend it a little. |

I have been looking into this for awhile. I installed a Kyrukin (spelling???) on my dad's sporty last spring but found it to be WAY overpriced for what you get. Also you are limited to where you can put the lights as the cables between them are short and cannot be easily extended. While searching for a decent set of lights I came across this place http://www.ledlightingsystemsinc.com/ They have some products that are very resonably priced and appear to be of good quality. (don't quote me, I haven't used them yet). They are not a buy and install all in one package, but they seem to have a great variety of sizes, brightness, and versatility for mounting. Also I like the fact that the light bars are set up for 12 volt application so there is no need to screw with current limiting devices. I do currently have a LED tail light which is awesome. All LED lights are not created equally so do your homework before making a purchase. |

Check out these guys http://www.plasmaglow.com/ I can't get them to leave me alone since I saw them at SEMA last year. I'm not much for extra (cosmetic) lighting but some placed under the translucent bodywork could look cool. Thx Brad |

Careful on installation, I had some water get into one of my LED accect lights, shorted the whole bike out, came to a QUICK stop on busy highway. |

That is why you run an appropriately rated Fuse which alot of the systems don't seem to come with. |
