Does anyone know if the triple tree, forks, and rear shock from a ulysses will fit an xb9s? I am looking at a xb9s, but I think that the xb9s would make a great supermoto with the longer travel suspension, and beefier wheels. |

The rear shock won't fit without serious mods, and the spring rate is designed for the longer swingarm. You could possibly have a custom shock built to lift the rear that much but that is a lot more deflection than the stock swingarm was designed for, and may cause problems. The forks are bolt-in though if you have the newer, non-SCG trees. Older models also require the later bottom triple tree. |

This something I'm in the process of doing, but I'm converting an R model instead. Forks shock and swing arm/ belt is what I'm looking at. See any problem going this route? |

The frames are different, you can't fit a long swingarm on the short swingarm models. You have to have a custom shock made. |
