i have a place in edgewater. about 30-45 min from orlando.maybe 20 min or so from daytona.

I'll be there. All the way from Orlando.
We should meet up at the Buell Demo area one day and migrate across to Hooters. We did this at Bike Week and it went well.

I know they (city) want to extend it this year to recoup some lost $$ from decreased tourism due to the hurricanes but in reality I'd guess Sun-Sun (7-24) would be the realistic dates.

"Last year sucked" ????

If you like anything about Bike Week you'll really enjoy Biktoberfest as the same vendors, custom bike guys, demos, etc are there but probably 1/3 the number of people.

Back in the day, (a few years ago) when I lived in Daytona, Biketober fest was only 3 days. Maybe 4 if memory is failing. It was basically just a long bike week end.

I think it's great to lengthen it. The weather down there this time of year is usually gorgeous. If I had the loot, I'd be down there.

Unfortunately, I won't be there but my bike might! My buddy asked if he could take it down to ride around so he can just park his custom and try to sell it. I figure between my bike and me, one of us should get to go.
