Hey, Just pulsing the crowd to see if there's a *good* Buell mechanic near the SW Virginia area (Christiansburg/Pulaski area) - would be willing to travel some - into North Carolina, for example. I do most of my own wrenching, but as I'm the third owner of the bike, I want to do a full "big" service for the 10K go around. I do not want a mechanic who has never worked on a Buell (there's a story behind this - took the bike to Roanoke Harley, and the mechanic was nice but bluntly said - I've never worked on one of these, this will be fun - at which point I took the bike, said thank you, and left). Just looking to see if there's someone who knows their way around a Firebolt and can do the service proficiently. |

Thanks - I'll check with Knoxville.... The issue is with the fork service. I don't have the right stuff to do that piece... I have all the parts... |

If forks are the holdup, I believe other folks here have posted that your local Ducati dealer is very familiar with our forks and can service them. If they can, and you walk in with the forks under your arm, should keep costs down . . . . Dave |
