Would love some help getting the new Corbin saddle to fit. Not working (which is not totally unexpected given a few threads on different forums).

Issue is with tab/hole placement as a result of the metal tongue not fully inserting (probably the cause of the ultra thick rubber bumpers).

Open to suggestions...

Should have mentioned this is for a Firebolt (XB12r) saddle.

I already have Al's quick disconnect kit installed.

Greg - I'll try next time I attempt to do this. It was incredibly frustrating but the problem (as I see it) is that the middle set of bumpers wedges the metal tongue so tightly against the mount that it can't slide all the way in. It results in the posts for the quick disconnect being about 1/2 inch ahead (towards the front of the bike) of the holes in the seat mounts.

I know on my stock seat that it won't go in unless I flex it, and even I some times need to fight with it.
