The only real thing those handles give you is a more comfortable grip, don't rely on them to keep you alive for cutting energized wires with any significant voltage running through them. Notice how close your flesh gets to the metal, far too easy to get complacent and that's when bad things happen. Otherwise the big handles would reduce strain on your hand, so if you are doing something like this all day long, they would be a good addition over the plastic dipped grips that most of us are using. |
