After pressing on the brake lever, the lever doesnt return to orginal position. Brake light stays on... Time for a rebuild or? thanks buellers! |

If the lever feels like it's sticking in place, try this: Remove the lever. Use a rag to polish the crud out of the lever bushing, the housing, and the pivot bolt/pin. Give it a light coating of grease before reassembling. Here's hoping it's as simple as that. |

What Dtaylor said. Also polish the ramp that contacts the plunger in the master cyl. I had the opposite problem, grabbed the brake lever and they wouldn't come on initially, then came on too hard. Turned out to be just all the moving parts getting dry and corroded. You may want to flush the hydraulic system while you're at it, if it hasn't been done in a while. |

Check the caliper pistons for build up as well. |
