Just moved to virginia beach for 6 months. I am debating to bring my buell there. Is it possible to ride it in the winter here? |

Just above you in Ocean City, Md. Not alot of snow at the shore. Cold, wet, and windy in January and Feb. but doable. SteveH |

I did for the years I lived in Portsmouth. The radar app is a great tool to help stay dry. I kept a set of socks&shorts in my locker at work too, but that was because the bike was my main ride for a while i always keep a few ziplock bags in my jacket for my phone and wallet |

I've been living and riding every winter in Virginia Beach for over 30 years. By all means, bring it! Check out the roads in the Pungo & Blackwater areas: Princess Anne Rd, Blackwater Rd, Pungo Ferry Rd, etc. Grab lunch at Monks Place or the Creeds Cafe. You won't be disappointed. |

No problem riding all year long in VB. Buy a good rain suit and do it. When I lived there, didn't even own a car! |

Striker, There is good riding and good BBQ in NC. If you have some time, ride VA58 West over to Danville VA, then take US29 South to Reidsville, NC. Short Sugar's is the BBQ. Pulled pork the best! |
